A School Visit

Today, we took Hudson and Parker in for a visit to Aunt Hope's 2nd grade class at ME Pierce Elementary School.  We had heard that this was an outstanding class of kids, so we just had to meet them.  Hope told us that they had taken an interest in our family blog and that they all wanted to meet the boys they read about.  When we got there, it was a surprise to the class, but they all knew who we were right away.  They knew Big Brother Hudson and Baby Brother Parker.  They knew how much Hudson loves trains, dinosaurs, and purple cupcakes.  It was so sweet to see how excited the class was to meet us.  Hudson got to "teach" the class some letters on the smart board up front and they showed him their caterpillars and some neat dinosaur and snake books they had.  We toured the school and saw the library.  Hudson really liked finding all the red Clifford dogs they had around there.  We passed by the cafeteria where John was hoping for a slice of the ol' rectangular school lunch pizza - no luck there today, maybe next time (wink).   It was great to see Hope in her element.  She excels as a teacher and you can tell how much her class really respects and enjoys having her there.  Thank you to Miss Inglehart and all of the kids for having us!  We had so much fun!
